Webinar – What’s the “Skinny” on the Farm Bill?
June 18 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm CDT
Event Navigation

The policy package that controls what is grown in our country, who grows it, and who has access to it, among many other details, is a package known as the Farm Bill. The current Farm Bill expired in 2023. Last year during the budget reconciliation process, Congress passed a budget bill that was referred to as a “skinny” farm bill. Then, the House of Representatives passed their version this spring.
Neither of these bills that passed included solutions our farmers and rural communities need to address the challenges of today. The Senate has a huge opportunity to take bold actions as the Farm Bill moves through their chamber, and we have the opportunity to share our priorities and make sure this farm bill moves forward real solutions to the farm crisis of today.
Join our Lunch & Learn Webinar this Thursday, 6/18 at 12:30pm CT to get learn more! Hear a brief update on where the farm bill is now, what we would like to see in the final version, and how to tailor our outreach to get the Farm Bill we need.
