Dakota Rural Action is looking for an intern to help produce the 6th edition of our statewide Local Food Directory. The South Dakota Local Foods Directory is a consumer’s guide to eating locally that connects consumers to farmers and other food producers who are growing fresh, healthy, locally-grown vegetables, eggs, meats, grains, and other foods.
The internship is a paid position that is approximately 20 hrs a week and will last from early January through March 2013. A full description of the position and responsibilities can be found HERE.
The candidate should be outgoing and have strong organizational skills, as well as a commitment to Dakota Rural Action’s values of local food, environmental stewardship and grassroots organizing.
