The Rosebud Sioux Tribe Utilities Commission will hold public hearings on May 28 & 29 on the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline Permit.

The tribal utility commission, as part of their permitting process, and recognizing that the new KXL route crosses treaty lands, trust lands, and tribal utility lines, is seeking testimony from any person (tribal member or non-tribal member) with interest and/ or concern about the KXL. Written comments will also be accepted (see below).

When: Tuesday & Wednesday, May 28 & 29 10am-3pm
Where: St. Francis Indian School Gymnasium, 502 Warrior Drive St. Francis, SD 57572
Lunch will be provided. The RST Utilities Commission is asking that testimony be limited to five minutes per person.
