We are grass based, holistic producer that avoids chemical use. Grazing service is seasonal. Meats are processed at local custom plants. Deliveries are possible.
Lamb / Sheep
Prairie Coteau Farm
We offer certified organic garlic for planting and eating and 100% grassfed lamb by the cut, whole or half animal. In addition, we sell wool, yarn, roving and sheepskin from our Clun Forest and Clun cross sheep.
Pesicka Farms
We raise Katahdin hair sheep. They are a meat sheep and do not grow wool. The meat is lean, mild tasting and healthy for you. We sell the lambs on the hoof at our farm.
Mitchell Farmers Market
Located on 5th and Main St, the Mitchell Farmers Market runs June-September on Saturday mornings from 8:30-12:30. Items sold are produce, lamb, beef, chicken, eggs, baked goods, honey, spices, jewelry and crafts. Vendor fee is $20/week or discounted full-season price.
