Local Foods Directory
This FREE directory connects consumers with farmers & other food producers in their area, and is one of many projects seeking to coordinate a stronger food system in our state.
To be listed in the directory:
- Producers must be located in South Dakota, Sovereign Native Nation of the Dakotas, or in the regions just outside the state line & selling in South Dakota
- Must be a farmers market OR community garden OR Indigenous Led Foodways Initiative or Project.
- Must be producers of food or farm-based products (utilizing ingredients produced on-farm).
- Local coffee shops are eligible for a free listing.
- Must be directly marketed to consumers.
- No non-food items unless the producer also sells food items.
- Free listings must be 75 words or less.
- Producers and businesses can inquire about purchasing ad space in the directory, but first priority will be given to free producer listings.
**Please submit information as you want it listed in the directory. Edits will be minimal.**

Purchase an Ad in the directory
Businesses who do not meet the above criteria but wish to advertise in the Directory can purchase a ½ or ¼ page ad at the below pricing. Producers also have the option to enhance their free listing to a paid ad. Click below for more details & to purchase!

1/4 page business ad – $125
1/2 page producer enhanced listing – $75
